Take it away Matthew...
In 2013, only one of my absolute “favourite” bands (Welsh rockers Stereophonics) released one of my top albums, so it’s been a slightly disappointing year for me.

Honorable Mentions Of 2013:

Coney Hatch – Four
I only have an MP3 rip of this, but it’s great classic rock album from this reformed Canadian band, and I plan on buying a copy of this on CD in the new year.
Devin Townsend Project – The Retinal Circus
(November 5, 2013)
(November 5, 2013)
My favorite Canadian artist. This was a career-spanning show recorded in London in 2012 and I got a copy of the deluxe edition boxset that came with 1 Bluray, 2 CDs and 2 DVDs in an LP-sized box with some insane memorabilia.
Queensrÿche - Frequency Unknown
(June 7, 2013)
(June 7, 2013)
Their record company, Cleopatra Records, sent me 3 free copies of the remixed version of this album by mistake. I ended up with 6 copies of this record, including 4 CDs, 1 vinyl and something I haven't bought in at least 20 years: a cassette tape.
2013 releases I have been meaning to get:
----------------------------------------------------
• Joe Satriani – Unstoppable Momentum
• Monster Truck - Furiosity
• Newsted – Heavy Metal Music (full length album)
• Coney Hatch – Four
• Avenged Sevenfold – Hail To The King
• Rhapsody Of Fire – Dark Wings Of Steel
• The Winery Dogs – S/T
